It's not odd at all that a Lodge seeks
to keep its doors open.
One would expect it to want to do this.
What's odd is to what it keeps its doors open
when it realizes it has not done
what's required of it
and takes desperate measures
that go against what it espouses.
For what exactly

your lodge doors open?
