As a Mason, you're a part of the Hive, all working toward gathering up what is good and nurturing, transforming it so that it can be stored up for future generations and protecting these preserves with due diligence. There are many dedicated Brothers doing this and you're merely one small bee in a much larger pollination operation. It's exciting and life affirming if you're fully invested. If you're not, you never truly get your wings.
Still, you cannot answer for "we". Masonry demands you to answer only for yourself. Your Work is your response. Stand by it steadfastly and without waiver.
Sure. There are a few words other than "Masonry" that come closer to Defining, Describing and Cultivating Maturity within an individual. I can't begin to imagine what they are but I'm sure that they do exist somewhere.
