Freemasonic Rituals are ROAD MAPS!
They
point out the features of territories classified as "life improvement"
opportunities. We know these activities to cause "betterment" when
engaged in.
In other words, should we use these maps to explore, experience and live within those territories, we must engage in activities that make us better men.
The
problem is these crucial understandings are not being taught! They are
put aside as distractions to be overshadowed by stoking the furnace
activities that keep the degree making machine hot and moving.
As
a result, members are told to focus upon ritual for all the wrong
reasons. They focus upon preserving the maps rather than understanding
them. They focus upon keeping the maps static rather than reshaping them
so that members can better understand the territories each represent.
They focus upon acting each ritual out flawlessly rather than living
within the territories each represent. And by doing all these things,
the life changing value and opportunities that each offers is ignored
all in the name of "tradition and status quo" and to the detriment of
the Craft and society as a whole.
What is also not being taught
is that Masonry is the TERRITORY that these Freemasonic Maps represent.
Members have no clue how to build themselves into better men, much
less others. But they do know how to maintain and service the machine.
As a result, very few willingly explore these Territories of
improvement; less actually do.
And
when they do, and they come back to lodge like Plato's allegorical
cave character, to try to discuss what they have seen, and they're
thought to be madmen by those chained to Ritual's dark walls.
Proof that knowledge alone

I just read a comment made by a Brother about my most recent book,
"The Craft Unmasked! The Uncommon Origin of Freemasonry and Its
Practice".
It goes like this:
"This
appears to be an ad for a questionable book. In trying to get more
information, I found some of exactly the same reviews verbatim on the
Amazon site. I noticed in one of the reviews that it is described as
being one of the best books since two known anti-Masonic books. Be
careful."
I
went to Amazon and read the two reviews and the ONLY two books that
were mentioned at all, much less in comparison, were "Born in Blood" and
"The Hiram Key".
My question out to you is:
Are these mentioned books Anti-Masonic books in your eyes? Enquiring minds want to know!
BTW - You'll ALWAYS find "QUESTIONABLE" materials within my books. (wink wink... nod nod...)
