Freemasonry and Masonry Differ.

PREMISE 2:
Where Freemasonry leaves off,
Masonry starts!

PREMISE 3:
The Ultimate Goal of Freemasonry
is to Introduce men to Masonry.

Based upon the preceding premises,
ANSWER THE QUESTION
 and SUPPORT IT WITH FACTS:

What is the Ultimate Goal of Masonry?

-------------- HISTORY --------------

Freemasonry has often served as a plot point for feature films. But do you know about the lost Masonic movie? In 1915, the movie "Are You a Mason?" was produced by Bro. Adolph Zukor's Famous Players Film Company and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The movie starred John Barrymore in the lead role of Frank Perry. Frank's wife wants him to join Freemasonry, probably influenced by her father, a purported Past Grand Master. Rather than join the Craft, Perry uses his nights out being "initiated" to enjoy some unsupervised time away from home. When his wife's father comes to visit, Perry tries to use "secret signs" to convince him of his membership. Except, the father-in-law isn't a Mason either... and had used the fraternity as cover for the same kind of hi-jinks that Frank had! Sadly, no copies of the original film remain, though newer versions may still be found. It's truly a Masonic movie lost to history!

-------------- MYTH --------------

"And so the situation in which we now discover ourselves, of a world of hard fact both outside and within, the world of the dynamics of potential action interpreted in the way of a behaviorist psychology, where man never acts, but only reacts, and we are little more than machines, either malfunctioning or in order! Compare this dismal image with that of the old myths and legends, where the hero of action is one who, through his own action, determines the shape of the world itself. What a contrast! And the occult, the hidden, metaphysical, whether as God, or the Devil, or man's own inward nature, is something that has simply been refuted. There is no such thing. There are the laws only of hard, outward fact and their methodically scientific translation inward.

"Yet anyone falling in love will find that, while under the spell of this frenzy, the laws of hard fact are for him suspended. He becomes the creator of his own sweet world. They rightly say that Love is blind, Love does not see the crude, ugly fact that everyone else beholds and which it has turned into a radiant delight. Moreover, if Love presses on (or let it be anyone seized with a real passion), the laws that govern all prudent life will dissolve . . ."
-- Joseph Campbell, "The Mythic Dimension: Selected Essays 1959-1987"

-------------- BOOK REVIEW --------------

"There is no doubt that what Nagy ...
has written [is] a book of much controversy.
It will burst the bubble of many
a Masonic scholar and researcher,
and the Coach knows this."

-------------- MASONRY WOULD REMAIN --------------

"I finally understand why Dr. John S Nagy
draws a distinction between "Freemasonry" and "Masonry."
For Masons, Masonry is more than a place to catch a cheap meal.
It is nothing less than the Great Work of Life and Death.
It is how we live, how we die.
We are Masonry, Masonry is us.
There is no distinction, no daylight, no dichotomy.
Every Masonic ritual in existence could be forgotten,
every book burned, every Lodge abandoned,
and Masons would still remain."
