Speaking strictly off the cuff,
this was NOT at all window dressing!
The pattern was beginning to be seen by all.
It was the naked truth!
It was also a healthy blend
of well-spun conclusions.
Furthermore, no matter how much
they needled the witness,
they couldn't pin anything on him.
He was definitely a cut above the rest.
However,
it looked like the entire suit was a stitch up. The Judge needed to put a collar on it,
but the defense had dressed it all up to suit him
even though there was not a thread of evidence.
By now, no one could pull the wool over the eyes of the jury.
It was clear that the witness
was a cut above the rest!
He may just have to cut the cloth
depending on how it's hanging?
It was sheer brilliance on his part!
The defendant wanted to bleed not guilty,
but he was now embroidered
into the fabric of another suit.
The poor fellow was all hemmed up
and he just needed to let it out a bit.
The suit was also clearly transparent
that the prosecutor had a vested interest!
And he wanted to press other issues,
but he had already tied one on.
SIDE COMMENT:
Even though the quality of these puns
are just sew-sew...

Candidates are restless once more.
It seems that they are displeased
with what is being demanded of them to progress.
The requirements to
memorize and give back
are simply not enough in their eyes.
One of them
said he was not provided any further training
in the use of the 24 inch
gauge.
Another complained that the common gavel instruction
was near
non-existent.
One after another complained
that all the important
things pointed toward
by the first degree ritual are not required
by the
Lodge to be done by the candidates to progress.
You agree with them
and decide to provide them
the necessary hoops as prescribed by ritual
to jump through.
You run all this by the lodge officers
and they
unanimously support your decision
and task you with the following:
YOUR TASKS:
1) Identify at least 10 things/area
that the Apprentice Ritual directs candidates to Perfect
to make themselves better men.
2) Write up a brief summery of each of the tasks,
clearly stating the end in mind for each
and what is required to achieve it.
3)
Produce a viable and repeatable curriculum
around these 10
things/areas, structuring tasks
that will cultivate improvement with the
candidates
when done fully.
You accept the tasks, role up your sleeves, and begin.
