-------------- SET PLUMBS/24 INCH GAUGES --------------

When Masons skip over
Setting their Plumbs,
burnout is inevitable.

The Twenty-Four Inch Gauge (TFIG)
is based upon knowing what is Important,
and what is Not Important.

Without a Properly Set Plumb,
no Mason can use his TFIG properly;
trying to do so is insanity.

It is in Setting his Plumb
that a Mason Determines, Establishes and Works
toward Maintaining that which he values most.

Until this is done,
he does not know what is truly Important to him
and hence he shall participate unknowingly
in multitudes of unimportant activities.

If I were to change only one thing
about the Freemasonic engine
that currently drives new Freemasonic membership
it would be to assure that it accurately assessed
all future Candidate's interest in Cultivating their souls
toward Betterment
and more specifically Toward the Good
and only allowed those individuals to Enter
who have shown a Consistent Track-record
Toward that End.

unless you are the Candidate.
Then it is ALL about you,
but not the Degree Team.
When you don't get
this one important notion,
you don't get Ritual
and you are in it
for the wrong reasons.

One of the most disappointing aspect of FB Private Messenger
is the lack of due diligence my Brothers undertake
on things that they ask me to share/forward
for some good cause that does not exist
and is truly a waste of time and energy. 

 

This disappointment is only overshadowed
by the lack of ownership
and apology that occurs soon after it is pointed out.

Honestly!
How are we to trust men, "Brothers",
who do not fact check things
in which they ask you to participate?

DATELINE DECEMBER 15, 2011 - I completed a new video last evening for the WEOFM project that will be shown sometime on Christmas day. Today I shall be further "fine-tuning" it with some "coaching extras." 

 

It's 21 minutes long, thought provoking and it is based upon "The Masonic Hecatomb", something that I've come to find far too many Masons (including myself) assume that they understand.

 

After its release into the wild, I am seriously considering making it available for DVD purchase soon there after... for those interested in having a copy to show in Lodge and in other Masonic Education settings.
