-------------- INTUITIVE --------------

"So there are some Masons who think
that the mere act of initiation
is at once followed by

an influx of all Masonic knowledge.
They need no further study or research.
All that they require to know
has already been received
by a sort of intuitive process."
-- W. Bro. Albert G. Mackey

-------------- LIGHT --------------

I add to the list:

10) When the website's "about" states its post are either satire or for entertainment purposes, it's a sure sign it can't be taken seriously.

 AND THE BIGGIE!

11) When the article presses your buttons and doesn't raise a red flag of skepticism because it PERFECTLY CONFORMS with your WORLD VIEW AND ATTITUDES, you're being DUPED AND USED TO SUPPORT AN UNSAVORY AGENDA!

(Hat tip to Bro. Earnest Lee!)

-------------- TRAVELING MEN --------------

It's been about four years now since I first published this book. It's about masculine initiatic experiences, archetypes and growth, all in a Grimm's Folk Tale style. It won't appear to be something that has anything to do with Masonry at first, unless you look for clues and allusions spread throughout its entirety. It's at the end of the book where you'll be challenged to go back through the tale to respond to insights and questions about what the story actually reveals about being Travelers. This is a "take your Masonry on the road" style of book. If you have done the Work, honed your skills and developed Mastery, this book will be a delight to read.

Random Building Thoughts - 2023-11-24

-------------- GUARD DOGS --------------

Some People are Guard Dogs,
Ever Ready to Attack you
to Protect Their Unfounded Preconceived Notions
should you Dare Show them
What's Beyond their Doors.

THINK:
PLATO'S ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE!

 -------------- HUMOR --------------

I: Why did the Jedi Cross the Road?
R: He was Forced from the Dark Side.

-------------- MASONIC EDUCATION --------------

-------------- HIDDEN --------------

-------------- LEGACY --------------

Your Journey takes on Whelming Significance
when you glance backward
and see a Multitude of other Light Trails
sparked by your Efforts.

-------------- SHINE --------------

You Shine Not for Other
But for Who You Choose to Be.

-------------- RESULTS --------------

What needs to be added to the current Blue Lodge offerings?
Perhaps nothing at all needs to change.
Perhaps the Blue Lodge experience is perfectly designed
to get the results it gets
and its more active members have been misled
by unknowing mentors into believing these results aren’t okay.
(The Craft UNMASKED!, Page 49)

(Now available at: http://www.coach.net/TCU.htm)

-------------- PROPER RESPONSES --------------

Yet, I do withdraw from any friend
who shoves his politics, religion and philosophy my way
especially when our interaction clearly and undeniably
does not call for such provisions.

Furthermore,
when someone uses what I say
as an excuse to attack me personally,
his action reveals that he was no friend to begin with
and he reclassify himself as "a foe"
and volunteers to be blocked without further discussion.

-------------- RELATIONSHIPS --------------

...and for the most part,
this applies to any relationship...

-------------- MYTH --------------

“What each must seek in his life never was on land or sea.
It is something out of his own unique potentiality for experience,
something that never has been
and never could have been experienced by anyone else.”
― Joseph Campbell

-------------- SOURCE --------------

How Can You Possibly Not Know

(Where is your mind going?)

-------------- MASONIC EDUCATION --------------

-------------- TRUTH VS WISDOM --------------

Truth is Inventory;
a resource a.k.a "Strength".
Wisdom demands the Prudent* Application
of that Inventory for it to come to fruition.
I've known a lot of fools who have truth
and it does them and others more harm than good
because they simply "can't handle the truth" prudently!

 * Prudent: acting with or showing care
and thought for the future.
