its seeds,
but it is not in itself the same.
This is not surprising
since they are both founded upon "Masonry"
-- which, as you might gather
from my previous posts,
books and articles,
is not defined by me the
same
as 'Freemasonry'.
Some men can attend and participate in Freemasonry
all their adult life
and never glimpse
the perennial philosophy Freemasonry points toward.
Other men can stay outside the organization's walls
and see the
perennial philosophy
to which Freemasonry's Lighthouse points.
Those men
who can see the Masonry
within each are the Builders
to which both have
come into being."

The
word "Freeborn"
was originally used to explain the phrase
"Able of
Birth"
and had nothing to do with Slavery or Bondage.
It had everything
to do with being
"Superior or Excellent Stock" at birth.
The commonly
used definition
is not what was originally intended or conveyed
and it
is currently used illegitimately
to judge applicants.
Semantic Drift is
a BEAR at times!
