Random Building Thoughts - 2022-07-17

-------------- HUMOR --------------

<snicker> no one I know...

-------------- CHARACTER --------------

...and in that moment I realized
who provided the greater gift...

-------------- CHALLENGE --------------

What do your actions say that you Value?

If you were to express in words your top 3 to 5 values,
 what would you say?

 -------------- WISDOM --------------

 Apprentice Level Wisdom:
The clearer you see yourself,
the clearer you see humanity.

-------------- DAM --------------

 You Heard Me Wrong.
I Didn't Say,
"Many Master Masons Can Build a Worthy Dam."
I said, "Many Master Masons Can't Build Worth a Damn."

-------------- RAISE IT! --------------

What it Takes to Raise Your Spirit!

-------------- MYTH --------------

"When looking back at your life,
you will see that the moments which seemed
to be great failures followed by wreckage
were the incidents that shaped the life you have now.
You’ll see that this is really true.
Nothing can happen to you that is not positive.
Even though it looks and feels at the moment
like a negative crisis,
it is not.
The crisis throws you back,
and when you are required to exhibit strength,
it comes."
— Joseph Campbell

-------------- RUFFIAN --------------

You may be a Ruffian if...
...you possess a common gavel
whose striking surfaces show no wear.

-------------- RANDOM MUSINGS --------------

 Generally speaking
generalities are problematic
because they're generalities!

To contribute in any way
to the release of immature males
into the wild
is a shortcoming
 that every Lodge should proscribe.

The Apprentice Work
brings Order to Chaotic Hearts.
The Fellow Work
brings Order to Chaotic Minds.
Woe is the lot of Ordered Minds
governed by Chaotic Hearts.

Operatic Life Principle #32:
When the Fat lady dies without singing,
you're doomed to experience eternal opera.

 -------------- INNOVATION --------------

MASONIC BEEHIVE

Innovation occurs endlessly in Freemasonry
but never in Masonry.
That's because the former has Principals of Organizations
whereas the latter has Organizations of Principles.
