Random Building Thoughts - 2022-07-24

-------------- HUMOR --------------

 <snicker> Sometimes ya gotta
 poke 'em just right...

-------------- CHALLENGE --------------

APPRENTICE WISDOM:

Fear is an emotion brought forth
by the Perception of Danger.
 When you experience fear,
it's time to assure the danger that you perceive
 needs to be addressed.

One can confidently address fear,
but to dismiss it without doing so
is not rational, healthy or functional;
especially when you need to have appropriate actions
to deal effectively with the danger that you perceive.

-------------- SEEK IT! --------------

 All ya need
is a Bright idea
to Guide yourself
out of Darkness.

-------------- WELL? --------------

Is your Charcoal Ignited
and Lighting your Way?

-------------- BREATHE! --------------

 Discourse: Masonic Oxygen
(Don't attend Lodge without it!)

  -------------- FOUND? --------------

 When you want to know
if you have found The Lost Master's Word
use what you have
to Travel, Work, Earn, Support & Contribute
Masterfully, Silently
and without the assistance of others.
When you consistently do so,
 you have it.
When you don't,
you don't have it.

-------------- SEE! --------------

Something to strive for, for sure!

-------------- RUFFIAN --------------

-------------- MYTH --------------

“An altogether different approach is represented by Carl G. Jung, in whose view the imageries of mythology and religion serve positive, life-furthering ends. According to his way of thinking, all the organs of our bodies—not only those of sex and aggression—have their purposes and motives, some being subject to conscious control, others, however, not. Our outward-oriented consciousness, addressed to the demands of the day, may lose touch with these inward forces; and the myths, states Jung, when correctly read, are the means to bring us back in touch. They are telling us in picture language of powers of the psyche to be recognized and integrated in our lives, powers that have been common to the human spirit forever, and which represent that wisdom of the species by which man has weathered the millenniums. Thus they have not been, and can never be, displaced by the findings of science, which relate rather to the outside world than to the depths that we enter in sleep. Through a dialogue conducted with these inward forces through our dreams and through a study of myths, we can learn to know and come to terms with the greater horizon of our own deeper and wiser, inward self. And analogously, the society that cherishes and keeps its myths alive will be nourished from the soundest, richest strata of the human spirit.”
-- Joseph Campbell, Myths to Live By

"The first function of mythology is to sanctify the place you are in."
 - Joseph Campbell

I first heard this specific Scripture below while listening to one of my mentors, Joseph Campbell. Perpending it helped transform my life. I hope one day that more people would hear it and understand.

His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
<Jesus said,> "It will not come by waiting for it. It will not be a matter of saying 'here it is' or 'there it is.' Rather, the kingdom of the father is spread out upon the earth, and men do not see it."
-- Gospel of Thomas 113

-------------- ENERGY --------------

There is energy in creation...
...but Creation isn't that Energy.

-------------- NEXT! --------------

I have not ever Written for this Generation;
My Efforts have Always been for the Next.
You might Reconsider What I Actually Mean,
Before what I have Written has you Vexed.

-------------- DO YOU KNOW? --------------

QUESTION:
 What are the primary differences
between the words
Definition and Description,
aside from the way they are spelled?
