PSA for all you Post-Modernists
The problem with Nihilism is that it doesn't mean anything.
And the fact that it doesn't mean anything, doesn't mean anything - unless you invest great meaning in meaninglessness.
Moreover, if you do dare make such a meaningless investment, you have given it meaning thus nullifying its very foundational claim.
Furthermore, your embracing and supporting it becomes a foolish act since the very core of its belief claims that you do not exist to embrace and support it, much less think about it.
Life only becomes meaningless for you when that is the meaning you assign to it.
It's a cowardly act that selfishly proclaims that nothing you think, say or do matters and it requires you to deny your responsibility for both finding meaning and investing your total life force toward meaninglessness to assure that meaninglessness is honored in every breath you take.
Conversely, to believe and then claim that your life matters demands you make it matter no matter what you encounter that indicates otherwise.
When you do, you'll live a life worth living; even if it's just for you.
