-------------- CHARACTER --------------
The Cloak of a Mason Hangs Heavily
upon Weak and Burdened Structures
and Lightly upon the Cores of Builders.
-------------- RECOGNIZE! -------------- Many
of you are not yet Master Masons;
You're not going to make much progress
toward bettering yourself
if you can't even recognize
what actions make you better.
For Further Light:
-------------- EFFORTS --------------
neither do we know that you shall
ever be.
Many Die in their Efforts to become Masterful
due to their
Efforts Dying.
Don't let Your Efforts Die Too!
Raise Your Efforts.
-------------- MAPS --------------
The Road Maps Differ in Focus;
The Territory Remains the Same
What territory do you travel?
-------------- SHINE! --------------
Lighthouses,
like the Sun and the Three Great Lights,
are a source of Light,
not a mere reflection of it.
What makes You Shine?
-------------- MYTH --------------
“Eternity isn't some later time.
Eternity isn't even a long time.
Eternity has nothing to do with time.
Eternity is that dimension of here
and now
that all thinking in temporal terms cuts off....
the experience
of eternity right here
and now, in all things,
whether thought of as
good or as evil,
is the function of life.”

The Power of Myth
-------------- BANE! --------------
The Only Enemy of Masonry
is Ignorance.
Anything that might be described beyond this
is merely a subset of this festering Bane.
What do you do to battle ignorance?
-------------- WELL? --------------
It was Never about
Being Half Full or Half Empty.
It was always about Holding your Attention.
Are you Still Captured?
-------------- RECALL! --------------
Just because you said a few Words
doesn't mean that you're Masterful.
THINK!
Recall that right after you did
you are told that you are NOT!
And that you might never be!
And that it might just kill you trying to be.
So soon so many forget
the first warning they received
before all the drama started...

PARADOXES COME IN FOUR FLAVORS!
There are four generally accepted types of paradox
– veridical, falsidical, antinomy or semantic self-referential paradox and dialetheia.
1. A veridical paradox appears absurd but is true nonetheless.
2. A falsidical paradox appears false and actually is false.
3. An antinomy paradox reaches a self-contradictory result.
4. A dialetheia paradox is both true and false at the same time.
I've pondered this "paradox" every time it comes up.
I come to the same conclusion EVERY TIME.
[PLEASE READ THE MEME FIRST
AND COME TO YOUR OWN CONCLUSIONS
BEFORE YOU READ MY RESPONSE.
Then chose for yourself kind of paradox it really is.]
1) The entire paradox pivots around extremism.
2) Extremism is established by the use of the word "unlimited"
when describing the word "tolerance."
3) Tolerance IS non-violence toward irritation.
4) Intolerance is ASSUMED to be violence toward irritation.
Here is where the paradox roots itself deeply...
5) It is assumed that tolerant people
will NOT take ANY action to safeguard themselves
from the violence that intolerant people will have toward them.
And #5 is where the paradox falls apart.
Tolerance does not mean
NOT taking ANY action toward the violence
that is inherent in intolerant people.
It simply means that the actions taken against them
will not be violent
(as measured by the standards that are understood to be
acceptable to safeguard the tolerant.)
BTW - This is a Type 2 Paradox.
