The basis of all "positive" thought is seeing value in what is before you.  

To see value, one must do Work against thought training that finds flaws and faults while you Work toward finding opportunities to appreciate, no matter how small or unique. 

Most thought training doesn't support seeing in this way. This is why seeing value is so challenging for some people.
