I've found more insight in my Travels
sojourning off the beaten paths,
trailblazing through thickets untouched
and keeping my sights upon stars overlooked
than taking the main roads.
Have I ever ventured onto the main thoroughfares?
Yes,
but only when I know I can get my off-road vehicle
to where I want to go quicker.
The problem is
I too often have to make my own exit ramps
and that gets messy.
My fellow travelers understand this
and are usually right behind me
pointing out the best times
and places to do so.
