At first, I thought I was alone...

I didn't realize how many Brothers speak the same truth,
think the same thoughts, feel the same mix of emotions,
sing the same tunes and stand as tall.

That changed once I began to talk,

think, feel, sing and stand

on my own.

And as I did,

we saw each other,

standing tall together.
We heard each other.
We felt each other's presence.
We were in harmony in all our dearly held truths.

I realized all too soon that I was never alone;

I was simply unaware.
