Random Building Thoughts - 2024-05-08

-------------- SECRETS --------------

Technically,
We have NO Secrets,
AND that's enough to keep us from
talking about any one of them.

-------------- MASONIC EDUCATION --------------

-------------- GET THE CURE! --------------

The cure requires more reading...

-------------- CHARACTER --------------

 The Challenge with using
the word "Better" in your Life-Work
is that your "Betterment Finish Line" resets
every time you Become Better;
this is your reward for Achievement
-- another worthy Goal!

Each Betterment is a Victory
that should NEVER
be diminished or tarnished,
EVER!
Even by the Insight that
every Betterment Bourne
Resets each time you cross it.

Mastery Demands This
and if you hold that title Rightfully,
you're up for the Challenge!

If you're not,
Mastery is but a title held.

-------------- DO THE WORK! --------------

What if I told you that
Titles Enslave you
and that Work is Necessary
to Achieve Mastery?

-------------- ARROWS... --------------

"You can always recognize the pioneers
by the arrows in their backs."
-- Anonymous
(Hat Tip to Bro. Chris Hodapp)

-------------- DIDDLE... --------------

I thought the Brothers Ruffians,
but found them far from driven.
I thought they might be Cowans,
but they build not for a livin’.

But when they thought too little
and wrongly recalled bold,
I knew some Brothers’ diddle,
brought madmen to our fold.

 -------------- MYTH --------------

"What is it we are questing for?
It is the fulfillment of
that which is potential in each of us.
 Questing for it is not an ego trip;
it is an adventure to bring into fulfillment
your gift to the world,
which is yourself.

"There is nothing you can do
that's more important than being fulfilled.
You become a sign,
you become a signal,
transparent to transcendence;
in this way you will find, live, become
a realization of your own personal myth."
-- Joseph Campbell, "Pathways to Bliss"

by The Quest You Undertake!

-------------- IMAGINE! --------------

 Imagine the Impact of
True Masonic Education
upon the Craft.
Imagine Creating that Impact
by Educating Yourself!
Imagine doing this now!

-------------- THE POINT --------------

I: What's the point of being a mason?

R: Well, for one, many do not get the point of getting points that need to be gotten when so obviously pointed toward and that is the very point to get to when the point is offered to get.

When you get to the point where you want to get the point and point yourself in the direction to get it, then perhaps you may begin to get the point that needs to be gotten when the point should be gotten.

What the point is IS the Point!

Yes, I know that the point of this could sound cryptic to anyone who doesn't get the point and that is but one of many points to get past to get the point that is pointed toward.

Are you at the point where you want the point pointed out so you finally get the point of the point?

Good! That's the whole point of the point. You have to be at the point to want the point of the point to get to the point where you seek and can see the point of the point to get the point of the point.

-------------- ATTRACT!  ALWAYS! --------------

FILED UNDER:
Craft Attraction vs Promotion...

When you don't exemplify what you proclaim,
you must fervently promote your ideals hypocritically,
for who you are shall work against you far better
than any promotional piddle you can put forth.

When you exemplify all that you hold dear,
you need not promote your ideals.
Who you are does that for you,
and far better than any other promotion
that you might put forth.
